Tiahrt statement on the bond program approved by the Kansas State Senate

WASHINGTON – U.S. Rep. Todd Tiahrt (R-Goddard) today issued the following statement following passage of the Cessna bond program by the Kansas State Senate.

“I applaud the Senate for taking swift action to help ensure Wichita remains the air capitol of the world,” said Tiahrt. “Passing the bond program sends the right message to our aviation workers that Kansas is committed to aviation manufacturing. Our aviation manufacturing base is critical to our economy, and we must continue looking for ways to attract and retain high-quality, high-paying jobs.”
