(Wichita, KS) Todd Tiahrt continues to receive positive feedback and support for his ongoing efforts to institute a comprehensive plan to lower energy prices, promote real solutions to strengthen our economy and fight for jobs in South-Central Kansas. “We must address the fundamental issues that are causing problems with our economy,” said Tiahrt
Tiahrt has toured throughout Kansas and his district talking about the challenges that face our nation and the solutions to address them. Tiahrt’s message about removing barriers that punish entrepreneurship and success has resonated with his constituents who often ask what can be done to bring jobs to the area.
SurveyUSA recently confirmed Tiahrt’s positive agenda and ideas for the future are resonating with voters. Their poll of 597 likely voters conducted October 20th and 21st shows Tiahrt leading his opponent 62 percent to 29 percent.
The SurveyUSA analysis stated that among independent voters, Tiahrt leads by a 2 to 1 margin. Tiahrt also receives an impressive 29% of Democrat votes in a rare crossover showing his appeal to voters from across the ideological spectrum. Likewise, showing an appeal across generational lines, Tiahrt leads his opponent 61% to 21% among the youngest voters in the survey. Finally, Tiahrt takes the majority of the vote among both men and women and among all other age groups.
“This poll confirms the response I have been receiving as I travel the 4th District talking about true reform to our market system, a comprehensive energy plan and making sure national security is a top priority. These are messages people understand and they like hearing strategies and solutions that make sense,” said Tiahrt. “I appreciate the support voters are giving me in this election and I am eager to get back to work for them in Washington, DC.”
